Dan Landers Addresses RISE Leadership Conference

President & CEO Dan Landers discussed “ROI in People: The Key to Sustainable Success” with insurance professionals at the 2025 RISE Leadership Summit June 18. Dan was a featured speaker at this year’s conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The RISE Professionals Leadership Summit & Awards Gala is where “leadership, innovation and celebration collide,” according to organizers. RISE is an insurance industry group dedicated to empowering early career professionals, attracting new talent, fostering networking opportunities, and providing access to invaluable resources.

In his remarks, Dan encouraged attendees to educate their staff and take the time to be sure everyone understands what they do—and why—in a greater context. Mentorship is key.

“We can have those formulaic approaches to different things we do in our jobs, and they may make sense from a dollars and cents standpoint,” Dan said. “But if you’re not doing them for the right reasons and not doing them because it’s the right way, then it’s not sustainable.”

He went on to say: “If you invest in people in the right way, they are going to understand why they do what they do, and they are going to pay back that investment.”
