Giving Area Children the Chance to Dream

Nov 16, 2022

Forty employees turned out to build beds for children right outside the office of A.I.M. Mutual in Burlington this past fall. The volunteers constructed and assembled ten twin bed frames for children on the waitlist with the non-profit group, A Bed for Every Child.

A Bed for Every Child is an innovative team-building program that engages communities, youth and organizations to build beds for local children in need. It promotes team collaboration, leadership and growth while providing a life-change resource for a child.

To date the organization has hosted over 200 group events, building more than 2500 beds and creating “limitless opportunities to dream.” Understanding the importance of quality sleep, the program works with public schools as well as other community organizations to provide access to free new beds.

A Bed for Every Child is an initiative of the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless, a registered 501 (c) (3) organization. For more information visit a bed for every child.
