Seminar Targets WC Issues for Contractors

Jun 05, 2017

More than 40 policyholders of Associated Employers Insurance Company (AEIC) joined us for a recent mini-seminar on workers’ compensation issues facing today’s contractors in Massachusetts. The seminar, held on Martha’s Vineyard, focused on key claim management and injury prevention practices, giving attendees an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the company’s specialized insurance services.

Mike Standing, A.I.M. Mutual’s President and CEO, and Dan Landers, Director of Field Operations, welcomed the group along with area broker partners, including representatives from the Martha’s Vineyard Insurance Agency. Presenters included Tom Bochart, Injury Prevention & Worksite Wellness Consultant, and Lisa Grilo, Regional Claim Specialist Supervisor.

Coordinating the debut event were AEIC Underwriter Danielle Erazo and Marketing Representative Donna Paulding-Miguel. Special thanks to Audit Specialist Joe DiRico, who fielded some impromptu premium audit questions.

Feedback from the attendees (especially the raffle winners!) was overwhelmingly positive, and the next AEIC seminar is tentatively planned for November.
