Service Team Visits Longtime Policyholder

Jun 28, 2025

Lauren McMahan, Jim Marcoulier, Jessica Sparks and Perry Downs visited longtime policyholder Kayem Foods at their plant in Chelsea, Mass. The A.I.M. Mutual service team, outfitted in Kayem gear,  got a front lines tour of the facility June 24.

Lauren is the Senior Claim Adjuster and Jessica is Regional Claim Consultant for Kayem. Joining them for the walk-through were Jim Marcoulier, Senior Underwriting Manager, and Perry Downs, Injury Prevention & Worksite Wellness Consultant. Edwin Santillan from Kayem (pictured far right) showed them the rooms where the products are made, cooked, and packaged along with the designated areas for modified duty workers, which was of special interest. Modified duty, the heart of A.I.M. Mutual's return to work program, allows injured workers to come back to work sooner with restrictions in place, aligning with the medical treatment plan.

Kayem's VP of People Michelle Bustin and Jeanne Langevin also met with A.I.M. Mutual's service team. Seeing operations firsthand is helpful in building an effective workers' compensation management program, and by all accounts, it was a great visit.

Kayem Foods
