Staff Certified as Nursing Home Infection Preventionists

All members of the Injury Prevention team at A.I.M. Mutual are now Nursing Home Infection Preventionists, a certification offered by the CDC. This specialized nursing home training covers core activities of effective injury prevention and control programs as well as recommended practices to reduce pathogen transmission, healthcare-associated infections, and antibiotic resistance. The course was produced by the CDC in collaboration with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
