Volunteers Turn Out to Support Cradles to Crayons

A.I.M. Mutual employees are once again volunteering to help with the Cradles to Crayons mission in 2022. As part of National Volunteer Month in April, a group is helping to sort and pack donations at The Giving Factory in Newton. More events are planned in the coming months.

Cradles to Crayons follows a three-step model to provide kids with the essentials they need, free of charge. First, new and nearly new children’s items are collected through grassroots community drives and corporate donations. Donations are then processed and packaged by volunteers at The Giving Factory. And finally packages are delivered to local disadvantaged children through a collaborative network of diverse service partners. Individuals and companies can learn more, donate and help at Cradles to Crayons. In addition to Boston, Cradles to Crayons has locations in Philadelphia and Chicago.
