Hospitality is an extensive group of service-oriented businesses primarily focusing on three areas: accommodations, food and beverage, and travel and tourism. Accommodations generally refer to lodging businesses such as hotels, motels, and bed and breakfasts. Food and beverage establishments include restaurants, fast food chains, and coffee shops. Food and beverage providers can be located in hotels or be standalone facilities. Finally, travel and tourism is the area of the hospitality industry which provides services for airlines, trains, and cruise ships.
