Wellness Focus: Breast Cancer and Heart Health

Wellness education is ongoing at A.I.M. Mutual, with breast cancer awareness and heart health the focus of recent campaigns. In fact, the company earned gold level recognition from the American Heart Association for its 2020 program.

Breast cancer is one of the most common kinds of cancer in women, and understanding screening exams is critical. The importance of early detection was a featured topic in A.I.M. Mutual’s October wellness newsletter to promote breast cancer awareness month.

Just as critical is educating employees and stakeholders on heart health. A.I.M. Mutual’s efforts in this arena have captured national attention in previous years and met the gold standard for 2020.  The AHA recognition is based on the total score in the Workplace Health Achievement Index, an in-depth measurement tool.
