Winter Safety: Preventing Slips & Falls

Snow and ice bring heightened risk for slips and falls at work. Through our vendor partnerships, policyholders can purchase winter safety equipment, including high-tech signs from Ice Guardian, to help keep employees safe. Two policyholders, a community hospital and school district, recently ordered these signs for their workplaces as part of their injury prevention programs.

Ice Guardian signs are constructed with ultra-bright LED lights that flash when the air temperature approaches freezing. A.I.M. Mutual also partners with Winter Walking, where employers can purchase ice cleats and traction aids designed to reduce employee slips and falls in cold weather conditions. Policyholders of A.I.M. Mutual are eligible for these products at a reduced cost. Learn more
